报告摘要:

Polymeric membranes are very well known for their selective and separation properties with a wide range of applications, from water purification to decontamination separations. A special field of these materials is represented by their biomedical applications, including here extracorporeal circulation of blood for artificial kidney, lung or liver, drug delivery systems or membranes for improving Osseointegration. Here are presented some of the obtained results regarding membrane for artificial kidney and membranes for Osseointegration.

Will be presented the synthesis and characterization for a wide range of applications including proteins concentration and separation or amino-acids retention. Also, a special attention will be given to the synthesized membranes for haemodialysis and osseointegration. Membranes obtained for haemodialysis are composite membranes with carbon nanotubes for the advanced separation of heavy metals traces in case of intoxications. A special attraction was given to the composite membranes, in which the carbon nanotubes are covalently bonded by formylated polysulfone in order to avoid the elution of carbon nanotubes in biological fluid. Another presented field will be that of functionalized cellulose acetate membranes with sericin or resveratrol for improving Osseointegration. Fully structural and morphological characterization will be resented here and also in vitro cytotoxicity tests with osteoblasts in order to demonstrate the Osseointegration potential of synthesized materials.
