主讲人:Prof.Jindrich Musil,University of West Bohemia, Czech Republic

主讲人:Dr. Jindrich Musil holdsa Professorship in Applied Physics (1995) from the University of West Bohemia in Plzen, Czech Republic. At present, the main focus of his research has been the PVD and PACVD of thin films, the high-rate reactive magnetron sputtering and the development of (i) new advanced nanocomposite coatings with unique properties, (ii) new technological processes of their formation and (iii) new advanced systems for the production of new advanced thin films and coatings. Recently, he has developed a new generation of nanocomposite coatings which are simultaneously hard, tough, highly elastic and resistant to cracking. He published more than 350 refereed scientific papers cited 6034 times without self-citations and h-index 41. He is a co-author of 1 book, 3 monographs, 10 book chapters and 43 patents. He has presented 122 invited talks at top international conferences.

讲座介绍:The lecture is divided in four parts. The first part reports on the enhanced hardness, the thermal stability of nanocomposite coatings and the formation of the X-ray amorphous coatings with thermal stability and oxidation resistance above 1000 deg C using sputtering. The second part reports on new advanced hard flexible nanocomposite coatings with enhanced toughness and enhancedresistance to cracking. The third part reports on the protective over-layer preventing cracking of the hard brittle thin films and coatings. The fourth part briefly outlines trends of the next development of new advanced hard nanocomposite coatings.
